They classify the must have bags into 4 categories: Lady-like, Exotics, Convertibles, and Fringe. Check out the video and you will certainly be drooling for atleast a good 4 minutes. Oh, did I forget to tell ya'll they are all UNDER a $100!!!
You can get all the purses and prices for the bags in the video HERE. Which one's are you partial to?

Fashion..D&G Spring/Summer Shows
So Milan Fashion week started this week and I have for you.....Dolce and Gabana!!!
Spring and Summer 2009 Womenswear
In this show D&G really went sailor on us and I actually really liked it. The evening dresses not soo much. All I was thinking in my mind when I saw them was "Don't go near the microwave". I loved the bathing suits, but I was trying to figure out girl like me with some hips and curves would look in one?? Hmm. I also liked the slightly masculine looks, they were so sexy to me. Overall, this was a great show, and I will definitely be looking for some knock-offs of this line.
Spring and Summer 2009 Menswear
To me it seems that they played up the young Clark Kent look up for this line. I like the clean suits, of course it is fashion so there were one to many metro-sexual looks for me. Overall, I thought it was a good show with some wearable potential with the dress shirts, tie, and the skinny pants.
What do you think of D&G's Summer Spring line? Let me know.

Fashion..Candace Bushnell pens Carrie Bradshaw's High School Days
Carrie Bradshaw from the hit TV series and movie "Sex and the City" is leaving Manhattan's Upper East Side and heading back to school.

As well as "Sex and the City", which was made into a hit six-season HBO TV series and movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie, Bushnell has written "Four Blondes", "Trading Up" and "Lipstick Jungle" which is now also a TV series. Her latest novel, "One Fifth Avenue", is due out shortly.
Honestly this seems like a milk the cow till it's dry situation. At the same time you know theses little teenage girls are going to buy into it. I personally don't like the fact that they keep drawing out this "Sex In the City" kind of stuff, just let it go.. I am looking forward to her novel "One Fifth Avenue", I read a couple excerpts in last month's Elle magazine and it's definitely a page turner.

Fashion..Rock & Republic, Duckie Brown, & Lacoste
Here's some more shows from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York. And this time I'm coming with the Project Runway style reviews..
For the ladies.. Rock and Republic
For the fellas... Duckie Brown
And for ALL Lacoste..
So for Rock and Republic:
I think they did a really good job of bring the rock flavor with the everydat wearable because I hate how some fashion is truly just art and not wearable. They also had a lot of cute "going out" outfits, and the skin-tight look I was actually feeling a lot in this show. Well done.. Grade: A
The Duckie Brown Show:
I would really like to see my fellas in some of these looks, but let's be realistic; it's just not going to happen. I felt there were some really nice taliored suits, that definetly play well to the Spring.
I also felt like the designers should have catered a little more to the urban male..they are truly buying a lot more these days. All in all..good show, but line lacked depth. Grade: C+
Lacoste:
Claps and Snaps..Though I do think Lacoste defintiley appeals to a person with a certain kind of style. It's kind of J-Crewish. I think that most of their pieces in the line anybody can really idetify with. There was bathingsuits, shorts, jeans, a lot of summer blouses and tops. The colors of the line really used the whole spectrum. The show was cohesive and took use of their wide runway. Grade: A
It would have been an A+ but none of the piece really knocked my socks off.
What do you think? Did I get right? Let me know.

Fashion..The Essential Acessory for ALL
SO, seeing that we are ending summer, heading to fall, and then comes the dreadful winter. I wanted to update you on the one uni-sex article of clothing that looks great in all seasons. Yes, I said it..All seasons, and it's for the ladies and the fellas. Drum roll please...The always trendy and fashionable...Scarf!!
Ladies, I know you know about this great trend, so no need to school you too much. I rocked a couple of scarves this summer and I plan on taking them into the next seasons. Bigga has been doing the scarves a lot more lately too. It gives the laid back, yet sexy, casual looks.
Fellas you might need a little more help. I know there are still a lot of guys who still refuse to rock the scarves. So I'm going to tell you how to do it while still keeping your personal style.
Here's a couple of ways to rock the scarves:
The Wrap-Around (above middle): A good choice for this season's longer scarves. Note: Once around the neck is enough—you're going for a donut here, not a cinnamon swirl.
The Hoxton: A basic overhand knot named for a neighborhood in London that was trendy a couple of years back. Good for wearing under high-lapel coats or a Boateng tweed blazer.
The Euro (above left): The popped collar of knots—in other words, strictly for the 29-and-under crowd. Works well with shorter wool or cashmere scarves.
The Traditional Drape: A pro pros when wearing an old-school overcoat, which is why your dad does it. Yawn.
The Drama Teacher (above right): Perfect for a silk scarf and black turtleneck—indoors and out. In other words, to be avoided at all costs.
So I know my ladies are feeling me but how about my fellas..Are you going to be rocking your scarves this year...or are you already ahead of the fashion curve?
Hit me up and let me know..
Also head on over to GAP..they have got great scarf fabrics and colors that won't break your bank account. Ladies don't forget the designer scarf around the hair look, I def got the compliments when I rocked it.

Fashion.
Okay, this one is for the fellas. I got some flack about not telling the guys what to wear. Also, a friend of mine always says that ladies clothing is much cheaper than guys clothing. I don't think that is true but, I'm going to somewhat put an end to that myth by giving you some options.
So, from what I have been told, having two older brothers. I have come to find that the best way to start and keep GQ swagger is to start with 10 ties and 10 shirts..of course this is dependent on you having slacks first. (So, make sure you have a least 3 pairs of tailored and fitted slacks:Black, Gray, Khaki) If you have those you'll be straight.
Giving yourself 10 tie and shirt combinations gives you at least 100 opportunities to get your swexy on. (SWEXY- Swagger and Sexy) Here is a couple of options that I like the best.

Fashion.
So since summer is in full effect I decided to get ya some cute dresses that are in good taste and make financial sense.
1. Color-accented floral sundress with flattering sweetheart neckline spaghetti straps. I love the green in this dress. This one is definitely a steal @ Newport News for $25.oo.
2. This is a Watermelon (pink)/white ombre dress by Allen Schwartz. Twisted Empire waistcrisscross back. Pure silk chiffonlining, you can't tell me this dress wasn't meant to be a show stopper. This one is @ Nieman Marcus for $375.
3. Embellished Georgette empire dress. Glittering with sequins at the crossover V-neck. This one is @ Spiegel for $59.00.
1.Pura Vida's floral halter dress. Pure cotton is styled with colorful trim on the bodice and hem, and splashy florals across the skirt. Ties around the neck. This one is @ Sierra Trading Post for $49.50.
2. Black with Multi-colored medallion print. Deep V neckline. Empire waist. This one is @ Neiman Marcus for $250. Definitely hot.
3. Lightweight and comfortable empire-waisted cotton seersucker dress. I love this fabric, but sometimes it's hard to find in something cute. So here's the solution @ Spiegel for $39.00.
I hoped I upped your summer dress game a little bit, so know you don't have to go broke to be fashionable.

Fashion.
This morning, I'm taking a look at the vice of most women...SHOES! Specifically Christian Louboutin shoes. Every woman hopes to have at least one pair of these priceless yet expensive shoes. Here are my favorite pairs that I have spotted. Of course, I have to be realistic and hook you up with some alternatives. Happy Shoe Hunting.
