Man, I love this song, but the video still disturbs me till this day. Nonethess, I love the group Tony, Toni, Tone circa 1993. Does anybody have a explanation for this video? Can some shake the 8 ball and let me know what answer it gives you? Anyways, enjoy the video and have a great weekend.

It's another Friday, and here is a great Throwback that came at just the right time..
I was a little heated about having someone try to "do me" at work and did a terrible job, leading to twice the work for me. I was talking to my friend about it and this is what he had to say:
"You'll get it, your are very smart, and strong willed".
It's great to have people in your life to say things to you like this, if you don't have any, get some friends that will encourage you when you need it. Anywho, here is the throwback from none other than Whitney Houston (pre-crack, ya'll know this song; Exhale (Shoop, Shoop) from the Waiting to Exhale Soundtrack. So the next time you feeling stressed..(all together now) deep Breath...Exhale!!
Enjoy the video and have a great weekend, I know me and my Rum are going to have a great one. What's your plans for the weekend?

Alright ya'll I'm bringing you one of my very favorite songs... It's "Never Too Much" by Luther Vandross. I think I love this song becuase it's not just a love song..it has that upbeat, make your day better spirit. Do you have any songs that make you feel that way? Suga HiL
1000 kiss from you never too much..
It makes me think about never taking for granted the life we have, no matter how hard it is. Enjoy the moments of grinding, and the perfectly made chocolate milk shakes. (My favorite by the way.
Anyways, Have a great Friday..and bare with me as I try to make a new blogging schedule that keeps up with me and my life without making me totally exhausted.
Oh and Happy Halloweeen!

His smooth soul is still hot till this day. this dude can sing one note and have you weak in the knees and about to fall over. So here is my favorite video and song from him "For the Cool in You".. circa 1993.
I hope you have a great Friday and a good weekend and I'll try to keep you updated on the sports side too!

Hey all, due to my crazy schedule lately I just didn't have time to post yesterday. I hope you didn't lose your mind. I decided to give you some old school Whitney. I mean this was way before Bobby had a chance to ruin her life. Here's "I Wanna Dance with somebody", circa 1987. Oh and the crazy thing is all the fashion in the video is current now, the scarf Whit had on, the shinny leggings..who would have though.
Enjoy and have a good Friday.

What up, it's Friday again..time for another throwback. Today's classics come from Ms. Jackson..Janet that is. I gave some young Janet, and then the older Janet. Nonetheless, I don't really like the current Janet with J.D producing all her music. It's just not hot. I decided on the first one though because it reminds of the good times when dudes weren't trying to do everything they can to get in the cookie jar. The second video came to mind when my from Odara from Gimme the Goodies said she could do all the moves to "Pleasure Principle", I used to but not now, but I can still do all the moves to "I Get So Lonely". What videos can you still do the moves to? Hope you have a good Friday and enjoy the vids.

It's another edition of Throwback Friday...I had to do this one because not every Friday I feel this good to post a song like this. I mean, it's Friday, direct deposit came through, going out tonight, going to a football game tomorrow, and keeping up with the rest of the action on the turf Sunday.
What could be a better start to this weekend? Anyways, here he is Johnny Kemp, "Just Got Paid", Circa 1988..
This song leads me to ask, what ya'll got up for the weekend? Let me know, hope it's going to be as good as mine. Enjoy your Friday!!

I know it's been awhile but I'm starting it off right again..Throwback Friday! One of my favorite Hip Hop artists who has been off the scene lately, TWISTA!! Here is one of my favorite Twista songs from 2004, "Overnight Celebrity". It's hard to believe that it was actually not that long ago, I have always respected his flow, it always seemed so original.
He is recently back with a little hot verse off of Mike Jones track "Cutty Buddy"..that track will definitely be heating up the charts soon if not already at your spot. I'll post it as soon as I get it. I'm mainly trying to give ya'll some hot posts at Speedy Gonzalez speed right now because of the technical difficulties below. So "hear" it is, the first of many today..TGIF and have a good one! Suga HiL

Happy Friday to all, It's time for another Throwback Friday and this comes by way of Another Bad Creation. Circa 1991. I mean these little dudes could rap and dance better than I can now. Who would have thought that their careers would be short-lived? Anyways, I thought of this video because I was at the park.
I swing my beat at the playground..playground....
You know...
ABC--BBD... Okay I'll stop.

It's about that time again "Throwback Friday"!! This one comes to us by way of Jesse Powell. Circa 1998. The crazy thing is that I know Jesse had atleast 3-4 albums and out of all those albums this is the only song that I remember or still listen to. Does anybody know what happened to him? I mean, his voice was definitely on point. Hmm.. Oh well, enjoy the video.

Can anybody say "Throwback Friday"? For real though, sorry for the delay in posts I'm just trying to get my life back to normal, and that is so hard to do after a vacation. So, in true throwback fashion, I have given you a gift in the form of Groove Theory--"Tell Me". Circa 1995. Amel Larrieux is still fire..gotta love her.
This song is one of my favorites that never seems to be too far out of my reach. Enjoy.
